Pook Kalikasan
POOK KALIKASAN is an original WARM concept. Literally translated, it means “Nature Park”.
The concept encompasses all phases of solid waste management – from hauling, sorting and segregation, recycling of recyclables, composting of organic wastes and safe and environmentally acceptable disposal of residuals.
Incorporated in the concept is the greening activities to be undertaken in the chosen solid waste management site. Plants and trees will be planted utilizing composts derived from organic wastes. Hence, the name – POOK KALIKASAN (PK).

For a stronger and separate focus on industrial and community waste management, WARM is set-up in three divisions – the Recycling & Recovery Division (R&R), the Solid Waste Management Division (SWM) and the Centralized Material Recovery Facility Division (CMRF).
